Nepal Relief Fund, URGENT: Nepal earthquake – you can help

Dear All,

As many of you know, a major earthquake struck Nepal a couple of days ago, causing massive damage. Thousands of people are confirmed dead, and thousands more have been injured. The epicenter of the quake, which measured 7.8 on the Richter scale, was in a densely populated area near Kathmandu, and the impact has extended into northern India.

On Behalf of TDSA (Theravada Dhamma Society of America), aka Sitagu Buddha Vihara, I would like solicit support particularly through the monasteries and nunneries which are providing shelter for people in Katmandu, Nepal. You may donate directly to TDSA and earmark your donation for Nepal Relief. We will then transfer the funds to Sayalay Dr. Anoja, a Theravada Nun in Katmandu who is well known to us at the Sitagu Buddha Vihara and who will put the funds to optimal use.

Our donations page is HERE.

Yours in the Dhamma,
Ariyadhamma, Ashin, Dr.
